The Bachelor of Science in Nursing trains nursing professionals who are responsible for the management, independently and/or in integration with other health professionals, of general nursing care for people of all ages and at all stages of life.
The nurse performs prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and palliation functions through technical-gestural, communicative-relational, therapeutic education, critical thinking and diagnostic activities.
Furthermore, with respect to his or her own disciplinary field, he or she participates in study and research activities and carries out consultancy and support activities in all areas in which his or her specific professionalism is required. He may also, in a university context or in clinics, carry out training activities on new professionals.
The practice of nursing requires personal aptitude, motivation and a rigorous human and scientific education.
